How it goes

The sketch
Within 48 hours, you get a hand-drawn elevation, a fixed-price proposal, and a build timeline. No fine print, no surprises, no deposit until we both sign.

The cut
Boards arrive. We cut joinery in the workshop (mortise + tenon for posts, half-laps for plates) so site-day is fast and clean. You get progress photos by text.

The raise
We raise the structure on-site in 1–4 days depending on size. Same two faces every day, no subcontractors. You'll meet me, you'll meet my apprentice Cole, that's it.

The keys
Walk-through together. We cover every joint, talk maintenance, hand you a 5-year structural warranty. Then we get out of your way.

The maker
Hi, I'm Daniel.
I started Hawthorne Wood Works fourteen years ago because the sheds you can buy off a lot are designed to last seven years and look it. I wanted to build the kind of structures my grandfather would have called a shed.
We work on one or two projects at a time, on purpose. My wife Maria runs the office; I run the saw. You'll meet the same two faces every day until your build is done. No subcontractors, no hand-offs.
If you're looking for the cheapest shed in the Central Valley, we're not it. If you're looking for one that'll outlive your house, we should talk.
